Results from our Questionaire

So far we have got feedback from ten people, 5/10 were female which was not our target audience, our target audience are males between 16-25 our secondary audience would be femlaes which meant that the feedback given from females was not in vain. From our target audience most of the males were in our target age from 16-25 with only one over 25, there was a large of range of how our target audience buy music products, some buy all their music digitally then we have some people who buy their products all physically in a store.

The Purpose of a Focus Group

A focus group is a concentrated group of our target audience and we asked them a number of questions to find out their views and opinions of the music video presented. A focus group is a form of qualitative data where they have the freedom to talk about the music video towards each other and achieve individual and overall opinions. A focus group is needed because for us it gives us an insight into what our target audience will think of our music video.

The Function of a Questionaire

The function of a questionaire is that we will gain valuable feedback from our audience, we will also be able to find an accurate account of our target audience and we can profile our main target audience from the feed back from the questionaire. We can also find the opinions of the audience on our music video, they will have the freedom to tell us their view on the music video, what they liked, what they didn't like and what they thought could be improved.

Audience feedback

What have you learnt from your audience feedback?

Audience feedback is important to us because we want to find out how effective our marketing campaign was for Dj Strio. By using focus groups as a method of finding out the opinions of our target audience we will find out valid and detailed opinions of our music video. We will also look into responses from our Youtube video on whether they have positive or negative feed back. From Youtube we can also find out who watches our video and how old they are and where they live. This will result in us finding out an accurate target audience which should roughly be around 16-22 which was our original primary estimate. We strive on audience feedback to measure the success of our music video and marketing campaign.
