Our DJ 'Strio' will need a star image so that it is easier to aim towards a target audience. Since the song is drumstep it is a small niche genre of music which is aimed towards a young market. On the Jicnars scale, Strio would fall between C2-E. The main scale it would fall into would be E since the genre of music is a young genre. Strio is a young male DJ who will often perform at large festivals such as Creamfields, Tomorrowland and Global Gathering and he will also perform at large clubs in big cities such as Fabric(London) and Gatecrashers (Birmingham). He is also in a lot of advertising meaning that he enjoys the fame and glamour of being a famous DJ. Even though he is an up and coming DJ he still sticks to his youth, by having one of his songs 'Game of Chess' based on bullying and heros vs villians. It also stays close to his youth because it has a comic book theme throughout the music video.
Vals:
Strio will have a number of differant target audiences with 'Experiencers' because his main target audience will be young people between 16-25 who go clubbing and also go to these festivals looking for excitement and these people will hold a rebelious attidude.
Since Strio will attract a young adult audience there is more depth into teenage Vals. Strio's target audience Vals would be a mix of 'Rebels', 'Trendies', and 'Drop-Outs'. The 'Rebels' who want to remake the world in their image will fit into Strio's target audience because his music is agressive and new, meaning that he wants a shift in music popularity, it shows that he wants 'out with the old, and in with the new' music genres. The 'Trendies' will fall into the target audience too because Drumstep has become very popular and is still growing in market size with the age group of 16-25. This means that 'Trendies' will listen and like his music due to its growth in popularity.
