Target Audience for Knife Party

Knife Party are a young aggressive dubstep/techno group which have become popular in recent years, the members of Knife Party are also members of Pendulum. Knife Party's target audience would be a male with an age range of 16 to 25 year olds, it is aimed at a young adult audience because the genre of music is new and has become popular in recent years. Since it is a new genre of music an older audience won't know who they are and their taste in genre of music would be differant. Knife Party have a large fan base already due to performing at large dance and mainstream festivals which are popular for the younger age adults. The reason they will attract more males is because their music is dark, and the group were originally a metal band, which is why their images and clothing has metal fashion items. Their most famous track 'Internet Friends' is about the use of social networks, and these networking sites have become huge in recent years with the 16 to 25 year age group using these networking sites the most, this is a link to their target audience.
